My most active crab has recently stopped moving, he hugs the wall, while their is a heating pad on that wall the whole tank is perfect temperature and humidity. I am also mold purging his hide, he cant fit in the other one so im not sure if thats why, whats also worrying is this is after the loss of...

On another note, to prevent bacterial growth in my substrate, would it be good to use salt water for that too? And is there a signature smell if there is bacterial hrowth? My substrate smells, its all eco earth, but it doesnt smell bad or anything

Heating pads under the tank can burn the crabs when theyre digging and molting, so thats a big no no, place it on the side of the tank, and definitely make a sealed lid like saran wrap, i like to go to my local hardware store and have them cut out an acrylic lid from my measurements then coat the ou...

Pools!

Since one of my hides has molded, i have enough room to put in one submerging pool! I know its recommended that i have 2, one salt and one fresh, but if i had to only have 1 which should i choose?

Also, how should i go about cleaning uo and getting rid of the stench to avoid stressing the others, should i just air it out or remove the substrate at ghe spot of death
