Re: Carolina Reaper
I would not feed them that personally because it is one of the spiciest peppers and I don’t think a hermit crab would like the spiciness if even most humans don’t like it. I would be worried about the hermit crabs hurting themselves from eating it.

Sure thing! https://www.amazon.com/hygger-Submersible-Sunrise-Daylight-Moonlight-Adjustable-Brightness/dp/B09CL8GY8K?th=1 The only thing I don't like about it is that when it gets into it's sunset feature it starts to turn blue for moonlight. I did my research and I think it's fine for the crabs bu...

Re: will it work??
Fr! I just let my big guy out for a little playtime, he wanted me so I put my hand in and he came over to play! I then fed him a little bit of honey off of a mini spoon and almost died inside when he actually ate some! Then I got towel and dipped the end of it in some decorated water and used that ...

Re: will it work??
I feel this! I've had 2/3 of my crabs for almost two months now! They started in a little wire cage with blue gravel, a wet sponge, pellet foods, and two extra painted shells. Then, about two weeks after that they went into a 10 gallon tank with fresh food, salt and fresh water dishes, and a brand ...

Doesnt help him walk, but at least he's no longer stuck on his back. Wow, in the video it ...

Re: will it work??
It think a 10 gallon is a great place to start for two hermit crabs. Anything less is not recommended as hermit crabs need at least 6 inches of substrate to dig down, and less than a 10 gallon will not be sufficient enough for that. I started out with a 10 gallon when I had my crabs, and I even regr...

Re: glow in the dark stars??
I have heard of a person who put a glow in the dark realistic moon in their tank. So It would probably be fine as long as the stars are out of their reach. Maybe you could put them on the outside of the tank where they are still visible but they crabs can't rip them off or anything. Also make sure t...

Re: Why does he keep changing shells?
I put in a really pretty new emerald green shell for my crabs, and both Mango and Coconut (Both my medium sized crabs) tried it on but took it off, although Coconut had to try it on and take it off like five times before finally deciding he liked it! Honestly I think the crabs are just indecisive an...
