I thought they were talking about their food dishes. Mine get kinda grimy so I let them soak in dish soap and water for a bit. For my water pools, I just give them a good rinse with tap, quick dry, and refill.

No, if your UTH is on the back or side of the tank, and it goes below the line of the substrate, it will not burn your crabs.

I would put it above the sub because if it is under it could burn your crabs while molting.

In my personal opinion, I believe it is okay to give them dry yeast. It will give them some vitamin B.
