So I just ran into my first mold problem today. I was saying goodbye to my hermits when I noticed white fuzzy hairs dangling from their climbing net and immediately went to the index to find out what it was. Sand in pipes
Any tips for keeping sand out for the sink drain? I can't always go outside to wash the food and water dishes with the hose. I was wondering if anyone came up with a filtering hack or something for washing them in the sink.

Thanks for the responses. I'll add more substrate, but I'm not sure if it's right to pour the substrate on top of the crab because I can't pick them up and move them in fear of stressing them out.
