Thanks for the tip, haven’t tried that yet! My new guy is in iso right now so I’ll definitely try that before I reintroduce him.

Also at the pet store they should sell Prime Water Conditioner as well as pure aquarium salt, which I personally use for their freshwater/saltwater dishes. Table salt is bad for them because of it’s additives, and tap water is bad for them because it contains chlorine and heavy metals.

Just some advice if you need it: If you live near a Joann’s Fabrics, they have good turbo shells there in their bags of various natural shells!
