If I’m being honest I think she’s looking a lot better given the circumstances. I’m rooting for her!!

Re: Is this the end for my Stella?
Your temps could definitely be a little higher, but your tank conditions are doing a lot better! I’d suggest leaving stella be for the most part; also one of my crabs lost his big claw before I got him and he’s doing just fine. Loss of the big claw isn’t a death sentence and id take the fact that St...

I just got my order from them! Took ten days to ship which was a bit of a down side, but not horrible. My crabs are loving what I got them from there though so I’m definitely ordering from them again, I got some free samples too!

MI, OH, IL, IN Adopters
CENTRAL INDIANA I live in central Indiana in the Indianapolis area and I’m willing to travel up to 1 hour, but I’d prefer not to deal with shipping as to not stress out any crabs. I have been crabbing since early December (I quickly learned about the HCA and fixed my setup). I’m in a 20 gal setup a...

New Crab Owner and Need Advice!
I’m not super experienced, but if they’re above ground, check on their color and if they react to any sort of light or movement around them. For example one of mine is quite shy and constantly under a log and every so often I’ll shine a small light on him just to make sure he’s doing okay. When he’s...

Re: Inactive crab
Check out Naples sea shell company if they aren’t able to, I use them for my crabs and they have tons of sizes including the small sizes I believe that would fit your crabs. Their sizes are just in inches so you would just need to do some conversions, but it looks like 1.5cm is about equivalent to t...

Re: Is this the end for my Stella?
If you’re unable to get access to a good mister I’ve found that hand misting multiple times daily can help improve humidity as well as just keeping their water dishes full. You could also invest in some moss (not craft store, specifically pet moss would be best to get your hands on) to help improve ...

Positive vibes he’ll make it! Trust their little crabby instincts [emoji3526] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I would be more inclined to do so but this is the same crab that would pull back his climb wall so he could get himself stuck to adhesive and also jumped (yes, JUMPED) out of my hand whi...

Re: Lethargic Crab?
That’s a really good theory! And tbh him chirping for his friend may honestly make a good deal of sense [emoji23] they’d always sleep in the same little log!
Either way hopefully you’re right!

Lethargic Crab?
Hi! I have two crabs, with my smallest molting right now. There have been some problems with that but they are taken care of at the moment. The main issue right now comes to my bigger crab- his behavior has completely changed since my smallest went under to molt. At first he was still pretty normal-...

I’m so glad I found this place, it’s helped me SO much with my crabs. I just really hope my little guy makes it up at this point there are so many factors against him[emoji51]

Re: New Crab Owner!
That’s so smart!! Thank you so much!!! Now my only challenge is to remove any calcium sand and replace it with playsand! (Yeah, PetSmart messed me over on that one...)
