I agree with AussieJJDude. Hermit crab books are truly outdated.

Myllkti, You my want to put actual things your crabs can enjoy on your list, like a tank upgrade (maybe a used tank so it’s cheaper), vines, cool hermit crab safe sticks (like cholla wood), shells, etc.

Hello! Here are my answers: 1. Do not dig up the substrate when any crabs are digging. You could accidentally disturb them and ruin their molt. And you could even collapse their tunnel.
