So I wrote on here about a week ago that I accidentally picked up a molting crab. I immediately put him back where he was and left him alone. I notice today he moved to a different hide. So I check the old one and parts of his exoskeleton are still in there. Uneaten. He hasn’t changed shells either...

Hey guys, I just got a pet snail and I have had him for about 3 days with no calcium source and I have picked him up by his shell 3 times. Please give me some tips how to care for him correctly.

I don't think mold is harmful to the crabs I think spraying the tank with salt water will help.

I hope you get some baby hermies in the end!

It looks like he is trying to take him out of his shell? It kind of looks like mating. I am not sure.

I am unfortunately not planning on getting any more crabs soon. I will always love hermies and may consider getting some again. I am considering a leopard gecko but it is not official.
