I got mine from the first Halo game. One of the final lines in the last (non-easter egg) cut scene is "Just dust and echoes. We're all that's left."

Did you try roughing up the plexi with sandpaper first?

You could always get some plants to propagate outside of the tat, and throw them in as an occasional treat.
Either way, it looks great, even with the plastic plants

I fed mine avocado from time to time without issues.

I can't see any reason to give hermit crabs a supplement as long as they have a balanced diet.

NarNar did a jalapeno trial a while back. I think she had some good results too.

What kind of pepper is it? Bell peppers are on the safe list; they come in red, green, yellow and orange.

I would change my salt water every other day (sometimes every three days, depending on the insanity going on in the house at the time), but I changed the fresh water every day.

I'd advise to continue to feed them regularly.
