Re: Slug (came in with the herbs)
Glad that the slug is doing good after a fight with the spider! S/he sounds like a very cute slug! I really want a pet slug or snail, but the best I have now is snails eating my Mom's garden

Re: new tank
Usually it's a bit tricky to tell, but it's a good sign if they're still acting like normal, they're active and moving, and if they burrow underground just leave them to do their thing Sometimes they'll stay underground for weeks, but this is normal, don't dig them up

I'm hoping to raise them to adults and then breed them to have more eggs, does anyone have any tips to help me be able to raise the si...

Holding Hermit Crabs
In the past I've tried to hold my hermit crabs, and they sometimes come out and sometimes don't, does anyone know a way to teach the hermies to "get used" to me holding them? I don't hold them very often because most of the time they're digging under the sub or they're climbing a vine

Re: Lifelong and beyond… But HOW..
I don't know much about wills or anything like that, but you could possibly ask that your hermit crabs be donated to a rescue center or shelter? Or maybe you could have your family members and/or friends take care of the hermit crabs for a day and see if they take good care of them?

Re: Ripped off limbs
He wasn't buried, just underneath the water dish, I guess it's possible it may have been a molt because Blue was a bit of a light peach color when i found him.. I also realized that I don't really have enough salt water, so I put in a slightly deeper dish, maybe he wasn't getting enough baths in the...

Re: Can i use a fish water purifier to purify my hermit crab water?
Then yes, it should be fine for your hermit crabs, just make sure you use the rate ratio of water to purifier and let the water sit before putting it in the tank
