I would start with Crab Central Station videos on Youtube. That is the easiest way to learn the best information. It will point you in the right direction.

Just curious, but with the amount of actual science used in crab keeping, why don't we use mm or cm in shell measurement? Like I said, just curious!

This is something I am playing with. Tacking up pieces with the hot glue gun, then after it cools and dries, siliconing in place. I have found the easiest way for ME to measure shell openings is an old fashioned hem/seam measurement tool. They are small and cheap, you may even have one. You can get multiples on Amazon. Gradient heat and pools

I have seen where folks heat 3/4 of the back wall. I am wanting to put my pools on the front (with bubblers and filters) in each corner. There will be a small topper over the pool on the cooler end. Which pool should be on the warmest end? Fresh or saltwater?
