Re: Tote Crabitat and Temperature
I ended up with a 75 gallon glass aquarium because PETCO was having their half off sale. I will post pictures of the finished tank. I just couldn’t make 2 totes work so this was the next best thing. I know my guys will love it!

Re: My DIY Crabitat
I’m getting ready to buy 2- 105 quart sterlite totes for my 6 crabs. I thought I’d use a dremel tool to cut a hole in each side to put a bridge through and then close it in with acrylic for a see through bridge that will hold in humidity. I love that you did a Crabitat in a tote😀 I can’t lift or aff...

Re: Tote Crabitat and Temperature
I really want to use totes to give my 6 guys more room, but I keep reading where the fumes are toxic to our crabs. I spoke with a pet store owner, not like a chain store, that sells exotic pets and they said totes are fine to use. I’ve also read where you can get food grade plastic totes that don’t ...

Re: DIY 40 Gal Tote Tank
I love your set up! I have been wanting to use totes for awhile now but I read they leak fumes from pvc they use to harden plastics. Have you noticed any kind of smell? I’m getting older and just can’t handle those heavy glass aquariums and loved the tote idea. How long have you had them in your tot...
