will there be an issue with insulation? like should I totally cover it tape?curlysister wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 7:21 pmNo, don't put it inside the tank! You can attach it to the outside of the back or side of the tank with duct or electrical tape.

Questions about Vivohome brand heat mat
I bought this heat mat: https://a.co/d/3kby3p8 It doesn't have any adhesives. I've tested it and it seems to work well, but I'm not sure how to attach it to my tank safely. Is this a usable mat, and what's the best way to attach it? I was thinking about mounting it inside the tank but I haven't seen...

I'm setting up a tank and unsure what needs to be boiled or cleaned before going in the tank. I have play sand and cocohusk, fake plants, climbing toys (coconut and wood), dishes, shells, etc. Does everything need to be boiled or sterilized? Does everything need to be cleaned with conditioned water?

If you're concerned that it will be too heavy, you can get a tank stand--a large amount of sand shouldn't weigh very different from a full tank of water.

Where to actually put my tank?
I'll soon be setting up a 20 gallon tank and didn't really consider how heavy it will end up being. I was going to put it on my desk or dresser but now I'm concerned that it'll be too heavy. Where should my tank go?
