How do I do that?

My hermit crab, Bella, appears to have molted, however her exoskeleton that was molted appears to have “chipped off”. It is in pieces and the exact color that she was (and still is) before the possible molt. Why did this happen? Is she ok? Did she molt? Please help.

Ok thanks! I’ve noticed that when I have the heat lamp on, the humidity drops to about 25-40. How do I keep the ministry consistent but still have the lamp on?

The temp is usually around 75-80, the humidity is 65-70 and the substrate is around 1-1.5 inches thick. I plan on making it deeper sometime this week.

I have a recently bought hermit crab. Her name is Bella. Bella digs down into the coconut fiber and doesn’t come up for a while. Is it because of stress or is she molting? She came up last night and went down again. She is also a pale tan.

The humidity is at usually around 70-75 the heat is usually at around 60-70 as it is a cold autumn where I live.
