HAMPSTEAD, NC
Close to both Wilmington and Jacksonville.
I currently have 2 PPs that I'll be moving into a new 40 breeder tank with a 50g topper. I'm able to take on 2-3 more depending on size.

Re: Failing at heat/humidity
A few questions: 1. What size tank and how long has it been setup? 2. What kind of lid? Is it sealed all the way around? 3. Is the UTH on the back of the tank covering any of the substrate? 4. Is the back insulated? 5. What is your substrate and how deep is it? 6. What kind of thermometer/hygrometer...

Re: This hobby is dangerous! New crabitat project.
The good part of doing a build slowly is it allows time to really evaluate and change directions when things don't work as well as you initially imagined. I started wrapping the second level in coco liner and just wasn't happy with the look; the original layout was way too big and I believe would ha...

Re: This hobby is dangerous! New crabitat project.
Some slow progress. Got the second level cut out and rested within the lid recess of the base tank. I plan to cover it and other egg crate walkways in coco liner. I have 3D printed pools which will be placed in the front right corner on the second level so they are right by the doors and easy to acc...

This hobby is dangerous! New crabitat project.
I'm only about a month and a half into my crab journey and am working on upgrading from our 29g already. Saw this 50 gallon (36x18x18) front opening terrarium on Marketplace for $40 I just couldn’t pass on ha. Picked up a 40 breeder on sale from Petco and we’re on our way! I've got a rough idea of w...

Re: New Crab Family
The new set-up looks amazing, honestly looks like an amazing tank for them to get settled in and destress! Hopefully in the coming weeks the crabs take full advantage of the space!! Fr! This is such an awesome setup! It's so much prettier then what I started with! Thank you both! Both of the crabs ...

New Crab Family
Hi all, new guy here checking in. My MIL recently surprised our 3 and 5 year old daughters with two PP crabs. They were in a small plastic container with gravel; luckily we have several planted tank aquariums so had some supplies on hand. I moved them into a 20g terrarium with some pool filter sand ...
