Sounds to me they are very well maintained on a varied diet with what you listed there. Yes, more greens sound like something you might need but don't beat yourself up on it all. You're doing great! :)

Happy Crabbing!

Nothing better then spoiling crabbies with a variety of goodies! :) I can't decide if shopping or preparing the goodies is my favorite part though. :) At any rate, I don't see any preservatives listed in your ingredients there so that's good. The salt would be my biggest concern, table salt is not g...

Distilled water is heavily stripped of any nutrients. I wouldn't recommend it for a constant water source personally, but I know of others who have used it before. I collect rain water. :) Go figure right? Hehe... I have a 2.5 gallon container (you can get them with distilled water in them from the ...

Popcorn is more a treat then anything else. There's very little nutrition value to popcorn. I like to dip all my popcorn into organic peanut butter oil and then sprinkle with some tasty mix of goodies. Crabbies LOVE that and oil is really good for them too. Lots of omega's and stuff in there. Brocco...

I used to feed this to my little guys all the time. They loved it. I didn't see any adverse problems from it either.

I'm the oddball in the bunch... I do not take all the sand out for a deep clean and I do not bake sand really (unless it's new and has issues/REALLY cold and needs heated up). I scoop off the top most layer of sand, stir it all up and then replace with new sand. Oh and before replacing I "fluff" all...

Non refrigerated? I thought I read on there that it needed to be... but it isn't when purchased in the store. I still always kept mine in the fridge. I don't have any sitting around or else I'd check it again. I guess with it being just out in the store though that would be harmful for the little ba...

Just a thought on something I used in my fish tanks, when I had them. What about Cycle? It wasn't too expensive. I'm not sure if it was truely effective or not, but it seemed to work well for my tanks.

I think I have a bunch of pet "holes" not a bunch of pet hermies. :) You can gently smooth over some of the holes sometimes to straighten up. You have to be careful not to pack it down though and collapse a tunnel. I've only ever collapsed 2 tunnels with my smoothing and even then it wasn't fatal. I...

1. Invent "Crabdar" which can tell you where your crabs are in the substrate. Hahahah! Do you know it took me awhile to figure out what a "crabdar" would be? Hehe... I think that's our best route. So who's gonna make it? :) I'm very interested in seeing how these "Water Table" tanks go. Sounds inte...

My brain hurts now. :? I just wanted to throw in my crab care technique here since this topic closely relates to mine. I have already reduced my methods of deep cleaning myself and have seen some much more positive responses then expected. Obviously I cannot reduce to nothing because I do not have l...

I was just going to ask about antennae activity and if she's still moving about too. :)

I think the wound itself does look better though. I'm not really experienced with infections though....

Well, heat and humidity are incredibly important for these little critters. Even for a day....

Does your new setup have heat and temp gauges?
