Just wanted to post an update- my crab was in fact just molting and came up a couple of nights ago!

I have a camera so I know he hasn’t been up When do I go digging? Should I give it 2 more months?

Hey guys! I have a small crab who has been down since April 30th… is this normal or should I be worried? I’m assuming he’s molting but my bigger crab went down around the same time and is already back up he was only under about 3 weeks. Any info is appreciated!

Crabs will be more active if you get your temp up closer to 80 degrees. Have you mixed in the eco earth so that the substrate is moistened to sand castle consistency? Thanks guys! They don’t move every night I think they are a bit depressed. Is this normal? I’ve only had them for about a week. Should I get two more to see if that won’t help encourage them to be more active?
