You could alwase use a heat pad or heat lamp near the tank to heat it up, but hopefully someone else will chime in with more suggestions. 76 degrees is totally fine though, the hermit crabs might just be adgusting to the new temp

A little bit of mold is normal, and fine for your hermit crabs, and it sounds like you are doing everything correctly. As long as the tank is not airtight, they will be ok, but the mesh may rust, but you could replace it with plexiglass if that haqppens if you still think they will bot be able to breathe, you can cut slits into the plastic wrap. But make sure the humididty does not get to low

Okay, thanks, i also read somewhere u should mist their gill area? Is that needed? I did just to play it safe the first time i took them out, but i was not sure if 20min of low humidity is bad for them, i do put a wader fish near them so they can get to if just in case
