Betta fish decor
I was thinking about getting a betta fish to put in my extra ten gallon tank, and thought about shells and plants, hideouts from my hermit crab tank to go in there, does anyone have anything that they think may be a problem for the (hopefully) future fishy.

Avoid calcium sand, and the five to one ratio is five parts playsand to one part soil, any playsand is fine( as long as no pesticides), you dont need soil however it is recommended.

I cannot post pics here sadly, but in one corner of my tank i noticed green moldlike (strips?). There is some brownish things too, and its just under the sand on the glass, i removed it, but what is it, is it a danger to my crabbies?

So much poop. I dont know what happened i just came to the tank one day and there was poop in every corner of the tank, orange, brown, black. Is this a problem?

Thanks, about the oranges and bananas(or any food with peel) though, should i give the peel to them ad well? Are any oats safe?? Is frozen chicken okay to give them, vut my mom usualy puts salt on them before i can ask for a separate chunck, is that okay??
