Betta fish decor

I was thinking about getting a betta fish to put in my extra ten gallon tank, and thought about shells and plants, hideouts from my hermit crab tank to go in there, does anyone have anything that they think may be a problem for the (hopefully) future fishy.

Re: Preparing for my first crabs

Avoid calcium sand, and the five to one ratio is five parts playsand to one part soil, any playsand is fine( as long as no pesticides), you dont need soil however it is recommended.
Hope that answered your question, if not let me know.

Re: New Crab

They will be bery shy and stressed when they first come from the pet store, and the conditions they are kept in are less than ideal, so it is not uncommon to find them constantly hiding, let him do his thing and eventually your crabbie will be back ti normal, also, all hermit crabs are different, yo...

Re: crab molting? newbie crab owner looking for advice!

If your crabbie is molting, he may be under there for a week, or two months it varies from crab to crab, if you hear the clanging and noises at night he is not actively molting, remember to have a heater( preferably a mat heater)or UTH and put on side to keep heat up, fresh and salt water, and a var...

Lego climbing structures

I have lots of unused legos in my basement, and just thought to give my hermies some hideouts and climbing blocks to play with, but found some sites saying they were unsafe and some saying they were perfectly fine, should i keep it safe and not use legos?
