It might be easier for me to get to Gloversville than Syracuse- send me a DM if you are interested in meeting up - I still have the hermit crab.

I do travel to Syracuse from time to time - when I have plans to go that direction, I'll reach out and see if you are still interested! I feel guilty about my crab being all alone. We have a large tank for her (just guessing on the her) - do you need any supplies if/when we connect?

I have one large hermit crab living all alone in a large tank. She is I'm sure very lonely and I'd love to get her into a knowledgeable home with other crabs to socialize with and have a fulfilling life. Let me know if interested - I'm in the Saratoga, NY area will drive up to 1 hour.
