I have found that my UTH that uses the Flexwatt system can be reatttached with out any loss of heating capacity. :)

I use industrial velcro. It doesn't slip but can be scraped off. New velcro is needed for redecorating though. Velcro can be found in most grocery stores. :)

The hermies will love the plants. I have put those kind of bromeliads in and they completely shred them, but they have a good time doing it! Nice viv.

The setup is a metro rack,then a plank of pink rigid insulation,then the T-Rex Cobra heat mat, then the 50g sitting directly on the uth. Oh , and the rigid foam covers the entire bottom surface with 1/2" extra on each side of the tank.
