That's a really neat idea for science fair. How exactly are you making the presentation? Mine had to something to "test", so I don't exactly think that would have worked for me...

I personally haven't fed raw meat (like chicken, pork or beef), but have fed raw fish, snow crab, and lobster, since that's what would happen in the wild. Well... I only buy actve crabs in the store, so they all come out on my hand... excpecially my E, Buddy. Knew right from when I got him he was gonna be a cute little bugger! Two molts later, he still is!

Wow! Interesting shell choices. Never knew any crab would ever try on any of those shells.

I have a Trochus sp. (second one in list with three crabs). Not sure where I got it, but I know that no one bothered even to look at it. Now I see that if I had a baby straw, they would like it!

I use a night-glo at night, and sun-glo during the day, with an UTH. The UTH keeps the ground warm, while the light keeps my second levels warm.

In some of my original carbitats, Spirit, who can sometimes be a bit shy, would bury herself for no reason for about a month. Recently, I bought more plants. It helped a lot!
