Ta Dah!http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y297/s ... 31.jpgIt's finished, finally. I made this with styrofoam, seashells, small rocks, and gravel all stuck on with aquarium sealant (4 tubes )View from top:http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y297/s ... _1934.jpgI had fun making this, but what a mess! Hope the crabs will enjoy it .

You are very talented; that is awesome! I hope your crabs have a ball with it; I know it will be worth all the time and effort you put into it.Post pics of your hermies enjoying the fountain.

Here's what I did:1.Cut/carve styrofoam; poke/drill hole for tube.2.Apply aquarium sealant to styrofoam, press shells (1 at a time) into sealant. Work in well ventilated area!!!3.Fill in gaps with rocks and gravel, making sure every space is sealed.4.Coat bottom with aquarium sealant, too.5.Allow sealant to cure 48 hours.6.Set pump into bottom of water container. 7.Cut piece of plastic needlepoint mesh to exactly fit container and set down over pump. Cut small holes in mesh for tubing and electrical cord to go through. My container already had a little ridge along the inside, but you could make a ridge with aquarium sealant for the mesh to sit on. Also put something else in bottom of container for mesh to sit on so it doesn't cave in. (I used 2 baby food jars.)8.Insert tubing and set fountain on top of mesh.9.Add small rocks to almost fill upper section of container. This is area where hermies will drink from and wade in, so create safe depth for your crabs.10.Fill container with water and plug fountain in. Adjust flow as needed.Voila!!
