Privacy Screen for Tank - Reviews?

Yes My Hubby has one, the thing with the privacy screen is that you to have it bright on the inside and dark on the out side for it to work and we all know what's happends when you turn on the lights in your crabitat, the Hermies go running for the hills. Besides the fact that it will block all beneficial day/sun light that your Hermies need to have a natural day/night routine. But yes it does work if the lights are on in the tank and off in the room. But to save money just go buy tinted or mirrored screen from a hardware store. and remember if it works for you at night when it's dark you won't be able to see in your tank during the day I hope this helped you Here is a pic of Hubby's tank, notice the bottom 55 Gal is dark and the top 50 Gal is not. The top one is tinted and my Hubby says his Hermies love it. I don't like it cause I can't see in very well http://community.webshots.com/photo/192 ... 3970tRXOfl Sandra

Yes that's the mirrored stuff I'm talking about. I'm not sure where my Hubby got it and it is removable cause it's not sticky, I'll ask him tonight when he gets home.Sandra

Couldn't you just get some tint like they put on car windows, and put it on the outside of your (or inside next cleaining) tank? I would guess that any place that does car tinting would have left over they would part with. Just an Idea. Flower

I have the mirrored on the 10 Gal part of my tank and I have the same problem I cannot see in it durring the day You can see in this pic that the left 10 Gal in mirrored and the middle 45 degree angle is tinted and the 20 Gal is clear, I like that part, lol http://community.webshots.com/photo/192 ...
