The solution to my humidity problems

Just thought this may be helpful to someone. When I first set up my 55, I waited and waited to have humidity problems like many other people. After several months, though, my only humidity problem was that it was usually too high. After my first deep clean, I switched from a 50/50 split of EE and sand to all EE. I was worried that it would make my humidity issues even worse, but after a few weeks, my humidity was in the 60's?? I reinstalled my DIY humidifiers, but hardly noticed a difference. I've been constantly pouring water into the corners and misting for the past couple of months. And then duh... it hit me like a brick. I used to line the underside of my water dishes with fishnet to make clean-up easier. The net went under the rocks, up over the sides, and I tucked it into the substrate so my little guys could use them to climb out.I cut a small strip of fish net, put one end in the water, and the other end I tucked into the sub near my heater. The netting slowly wicks out the water, supplying a constant, small amount of water to the sub all the time. Voila... instant humidity.
