Adhere products with velcro sticky tape

I don't have products that adhere to the tank but I've noticed posts regarding some that cannot be removed once affixed. Instead of mounting the item with whatever adhesive it comes with, invest in a roll of sticky back velcro tape. It's capable of supporting heavy items and detachable if you need to replace the product or move it to another tank. And with some muscle, you can peel the old tab from the glass too.Hey, I just noticed I'm not a newbie anymore!!

One caveat to that -- I know at least one person here once found one of their crabs stuck on the velco! I would never have guessed that was possible. I use suction cups for my humidity gauges and my climbing vine. The vine does fall down from time to time, but the gauges rarely do - the only thing I've seen take them down is an XL Straw sitting on top of them ... come to think of it, that's what gets the vines too.
