Red/Purple Moon Bulbs OK For Small Tanks?

If I bought one, where would I put it? I have a 10g tank with a screen lid covered with Saran Wrap. Which one is cheap and can I buy?

I had my hermies in a 10 gallon tank originally and to keep the temps warm enough at night I used a low wattage moon glo bulb in a clamp lamp suspended above my tank a few inches. I use EE for my substrate though and so the light didn't effect my humidity much.

Red/Purple Moon Bulbs OK For Small Tanks?

I don't think 10g tanks are too small for night-glo bulbs. I've used a single 25w bulb on my 10g ISO (along with a small UTH) and the tank stayed in the upper 70's.However, I wouldn't not use it on a tank covered with seran wrap. The wrap will melt. You need a glass lid. You can get 10g tank glass covers for about 10$ at a pet store.
