Dry substrate

I may have already posted about this, but I am still having trouble keeping my substrate wet. I spray it every day, but it still drys out.How do you keep it wet?

try getting sand castle const. first by re wetting it all { BUT } first make sure it is all bone dry all the way through to the bottom of the tank. you do not want to just pour water in with out checking to see if it's wet on the bottom or you will have a soupy wet mess. then do you keep your tank covered and what type of covering do you use? you need to adjust the opening to or switch the type of covering and are you using to much heat / light wattage that could be drying out the top surface? You can stir up your substrate if you don't have molters to get the bottom moister up, you get to spraying to much it will also cause pooling

Misting is not effective because it only wets the surface which evaporates within an hour after you're done.
