Fluorescent Light?

Hey guys! What are your thoughts on a fluorescent lamp for the top of the tank? It doesn't create any heat: just light.

Most of us use fluorescent lighting on our tanks and that primarily consisting of UVA/UVB light which is what hermitcrabs need.

As Crabber85 mentioned, you'll want to look for a specific reptile UV bulb, a repti sun/glo 5.0 is what we usually recommend.
