Two Crabs Needing a Home Charlotte NC

Hi there. My parents purchased two hermit crabs from a store at the beach yesterday. As I was reading about them, I am realizing how much care they need and I don’t think it’s a good fit for our family. Are you able to take in the two they purchased from a beach store? We are here in north myrtle until Saturday then headed home to charlotte NC.
