VA- looking to rehome ~7 crabbies

Post by CyCrabGuy » Mon Aug 26, 2024 12:13 pm

Hello! As life as been developing, I haven’t got the time or energy to maintain my precious crabs.

Location (nearest large city, state, country): Richmond VA
How Far Will You Travel?: yes, willing to travel an hour or two.
Would You Be Willing to Ship? (Applicable in the USA Only): yes
Number of Crabs, Size of The Crabs, and Species If Known: approximately 7(I’ve been taking in local rescues and have lost count), all different sizes, purple pinches and Lilacs
Supplies and Tank That Are Included (If Any): tank can be purchased, it’s a modified 75 gallon with a 12 inch substrate layer and 2 2-gallon water pools. Has sliding glass doors and small filters for the water. I’d also include all my shells and hermit crab-specific decor, supplies, and food.
Adoption or Supply Fee Being Asked (If Any): no adoption fee, tank+supplies would be $200. Pickup is preferred for tank.
I Would Like to Be Contacted By - Email - : sophiabeey@gmail.com
Any Other Information: I love my crabs, I just am changing focus in life and am having to downsize on some pets. I want them to go to a good home that will love them like they deserve.

I do want to add this, I am very tentative with who they will go to.
I may end up keeping them, but if the perfect person comes along then I’d be more than happy to adopt my crabbies out to them.

I could potentially take one small or medium size crab - what species are the Lilacs (Coenobita lila presumably)?

My tank setup is here:
https://hermitcrabassociation.com/phpBB ... 8&t=128153
Humidity ranges from 74-78%, temperature from 76-79 degrees depending on location in the tank and lighting period.
One roommate - a medium size PP who has been buried for the last month.
