New Home for Hermit Crab (40 gal tank and stand included)

We have a med-large hermit crab which is about 5 years old. Crab currently resides in a 40 gallon tank in my daughter's room. It is pretty active, it will crawl upside down on the cover of the tank. It hasn't ever pinched anyone My husband got it for our daughter for her 13th birthday while at Myrtle Beach. My daughter needs the room in her bedroom and we don't really have the room for the tank and stand anywhere else. My husband was adamant that the crab have plenty of space. We are near Pittsburgh.
