Is MTpetemporium Etsy Store good?
I plan on doing a huge order from MTpetemporium on Etsy and I am wondering if they are any good ot if anyone else has pictures of what they bought and just if anyone has had any experience with them. I tend to no have any fresh fruits and vegetables for the crabs so thus is why I am doing a mega haul from them because they pretty much get all dried foods unfortunately and I want a huge variety for my crabs. Not to mention dried food is easier to manage.

Yes! That's a fantastic store! We have ordered many foods several times! That's one of my top favorite stores!

Xeno and I both love MT Pet Emporium and order from them maybe three times a year. We mainly order animal proteins from them. Our crabs go nuts for their dehydrated oysters!
If you are looking for another option for hermit foods with a big variety check out BioactiveFX1 on Etsy. Courtney has a huge selection of foods and cholla wood! They are also running 20% off orders over $50 until the end of the year! They are our go to crab food store with the biggest variety.
Just be aware that shipping is really backlogged pretty much everywhere now. We normally receive our orders within a week from both these shops. That's traveling cross country too. It may take several weeks. We ordered some things from people we know and trust from Etsy December 5th, shipped early the following week and still have not received them! The items were coming from NY and WV, we are in PA! Just be patient with whatever shop you order from, small shops are at the mercy of the shipping companies.

Re: Is MTpetemporium Etsy Store good?
OMG thank you so much. I have talked to the owner lots on Instagram and we have talked quite a bit. And I had told her I was gonna eventually do a huge haul from her store but I didnt know if she was well known in the crab community or not. I am getting an over 100 dollar order form them and just wanted to know what they have thought if their are any favorites etc. She has been helpful along my crab journey and I really wanted to support and she has a pretty good variety though for proteins I pretty much have the crabs covered it was just sea mixes like kelp, chitin and chunks, hemp seed etc. I have had about 4 to 5 deaths and I have been crabbing for two years and have owned over 20 crabs (I know thats alot). Anyway I want to make sure they are being satisified as it seems to be they have issues molting so I wanted to get seafood lobster bites that kind of thing, so they dont eat eachother. I think my crabs are almost bored with chicken, pork, turkey, and venison. Also I already have my own calcium mix made of egg shells so it cant be from that. I am just thinking improper setup as I had not the best at first and I think they went for their first molt and didnt have the nutrients and passed. I finally am getting everything I need and more so hopefully I wont have anymore deaths.

Nevermind I had 3 die on me out of 20, and I gave 4 to my cousins. And honestly I can only tell apart about 10 to 15 of my crabs because they switch shells then switch back and then stich with eachother all of the time and I cant keep track especially since some come out of a molt looking completely different.

They also have an actual website too. Before you place your order on Etsy ask her if you can place a custom order! It's a little more work on your part unless you allow her to mix and match without you choosing. I would honestly trust her enough to "surprise me". I'd just let her know you want more exotic stuff.
I got a duck foot from her and my guys went nuts! I got a chicken foot from another vendor and they didn't want to be bothered at all! It's funny how something similar will get turned down by the crabs.
From MT Pet Emporium I like, as in my crabs like her whole capelin, smelt, chicken neck, duck feet, dried mussel, shrimp, beef lung, beef liver, silk worm pupae, baltic sprat and the clam chowder sticks. I have been wanting to try the duck heads but didn't yet, maybe on our next order. A lot of stuff I will break into pieces, her capelin are like 6" long so I will break them into chunks so they last longer!
The reason I say to do a custom order is that Etsy will only take a $0.20 listing fee once for the entire order instead of each item. If you order three of one thing Etsy will bill out $0.60 total plus a percentage of the total order. It's just a way to make sure the vendor gets a little more money from their products.

Re: Is MTpetemporium Etsy Store good?
I will see if I can the only issue is I dont have a lot of options as I am not even 15. So for Christmas all I asked for was hermit crab stuff and took any money I got to get stuff online or near me for my hermit carbs. My aunt is gonna be placing the order and I will see what I can do. And as for the duck head, I have will be getting them fresh in the near future as we have our own hobby farm and we have chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl, etc. They love all the weird things i give them like that lol. I can not wait to give them a duck head, also yes crabs can be so fussy! Though I am still getting a bunch of goat and pig just because we dont have that. Thank you for the reply and giving me a heads up, like I said I will try but I am completely dependent on another person.

Awesome! I always find it interesting to see how different people's crabs react to the same foods. Even our crabs vary from tank to tank. Even month to month!
Even with decor. Ours love standard wheels and use them daily. They don't go near the saucers at all!
