I just put the moose poop on the substrate and give it a spray of water to re-wet it. :)

I got my order yesterday, and everything is great! I'm hoping to put some of the food in tonight! The hut is great, and it looks great with my saltwater dish :) I look forward to shopping at your store in the future.

My little guy also likes the hut! It's the perfect size for my little guys :D

Everything I ordered was a big hit, especially the sheep poop and the moose poop (ty for the sample!). I'll remain a faithful customer, for sure! :D I'm gathering organic seeds (Hopi blue corn, pumpkin, wheat grass, others) in hopes of growing some hermie food and if I harvest enough of it I may be able to list a few things. I'm hoping to add a "southern flavor" to the list of hermie delights here. :) If you run out of the crab exo I could provide crayfish exo soon. It's coming up on "mudbug" season here! :) Not trying to be competitive, just thinking about adding a little unusual variety. Is it a good idea, or not? Would you mind if I send you a free sample or two?
Life is all about how you handle "plan B".

Glad they liked the stuff. :)

Somebody bought all my mussel shells. Should have more in August sometime if all goes well. :) Possibly sooner if I end up going crazy from the mosquitoes here and fly to Juneau earlier than that.

I should be able to start shipping isopods this weekend!! This winter just will not end...so fingers crossed! Look out for them to be in stock by Friday or Saturday. I will be adding three new species that I've been breeding over the fall and winter in addition to Porcellio scaber. :) Armadilidium vulgare, A. nasatum, and Porcellionides pruinosus.

I'll also be adding some BEAUTIFUL birch bark rounds that I collected last week. I'll also be adding some new food stuff this summer because I will have a garden! :D

I might have less wild roses this summer because the place where I get the bulk of them was bulldozed to put a frolf course in. :( I'll try to find another patch, but I doubt I will find one as productive as that one.

Oh well :( I got dried food from the hermit crab addiction just fine. Even choya wood got through (currently "banned"). Do you mind if I try and look to see if there is a way for you to ship internationally without hassle?

My crabs loved the moose poop!!!!
It was gone within minutes. Unfortunately, my dog Daisy got ahold of it. And ate the whole bag. Image
The culprit.
I am currently ordering more.

I think it's because it's Alaska, but the hermitcrabaddiction is in the states. Animal matter (poop, meat) and plants can be really risky.

Oh you funny Canadians, eh? ;) "The States" is all 50 of them, including Alaska. You want to go with "Contiguous United States" or "Continental United States" or just "The Lower 48". (Yeah, it's a pain in the butt for those of us who live here. 50 States is WAY too much. Try asking anyone who doesn't live in Wyoming to find Wyoming on an unlabeled map. )
