Canadian Crab Connection

I placed a fairly large order on December 17th and got the automatic receipt for my payment. On December 22nd I sent them an e-mail asking to add a few items to my order if it hadn't been shipped already. I also asked in the e-mail how long before it would be shipped, whether I would be sent a shipping notification and if they provided tracking information.

They had special holiday packs on their site, so I assumed they would be prepared to operate over the holiday time, and Dec 17th is early enough I though it would have shipped before Christmas. I haven't received any response from them whatsoever though, and am starting to get a little concerned. I would have though if they were closing over the holidays this would be put on the website or their Facebook page, or an auto reply for their email saying that they would respond when they open up again after their holidays, but they have none of this.

I'm in no rush and would happily wait to receive the order but am concerned by the lack of response to my questions or information on when I can expect to receive the shipment. I was just wondering if anyone has used this site before and what was your experience?

Well, I haven't received a reply e-mail yet, but checking their Facebook page again they have left a message apologizing for delays in getting orders out, they took a small break over the holidays and are now back to packaging up orders for shipment. I'll update if/when I receive my order. Hopefully it works out so there are some more cost-friendly options for us Canadians since shipping from the US can get really expensive!

I use them a lot. They're great. They only send orders out once a week (I've been told by them every Monday) so that adds a delay as well.

Everything I've gotten has been amazing. My crabs love their food and the owner is really great from my interaction with her on Facebook. :)

Also, once the order ships I find it gets here very fast! I'm not far from them, though.

I had sent them another e-mail last week, and they responded that my order was packed and they were shipping it Saturday. They said they didn't get my previous e-mail asking to add some items to my order, but offered to add it if I wanted. Since my order was already packed I didn't want to risk it taking longer to get here by adding more and changing shipping method to box shipping (going on vacation, need it to arrive first) I declined. I got a shipping notification on Sunday. No tracking info, but i'm in a major city so it should arrive sometime this week.
