There is SUCH a need for this type of service. Some of us would gladly pay more for molted crabs. I think you have to make that decision early on; will you be a high volume, low cost supplier or more of a high end supplier. Perhaps you could molt a percentage of the crabs and offer the others after a short de-stressing period. (at two different prices of course )Also I agree that the natural mite treatment is really important; not only for us customers, but also because if mites get started in your room it will not be fun. You could sell shells for a low margin which would help your cash flow when crab sales are low or yours are in quarantine.
The hard part of an animal business with animals you love is
1-you will see a lot of death and disease.
2-Since you love the animals it is easy to forget that it is a business and charge your true costs. But, if you don't it will be a short=lived business. There are many of us here that run successful businesses that would be happy to help you.
If it is within the rules of the forum, (sorry I am not sure) maybe you could get emails and start a newsletter so we can monitor your progress and maybe pre-order crabs
