I placed an order from Caribbean Imports on February 25 and received my order on March 5. I ordered shells and coconut halves.
Order processing was a little slow but they warn you about this before you place your order. I ordered about $100.00 worth of supplies. The two shell orders I wanted most were missing and "out of stock" when my package arrived.
The box arrived overstuffed and with very little protective packaging. One of my coconut shells was broke with a door shaped hole so that worked out for me. I would have been ticked had I wanted it as a bowl. One of the larger and more expensive turbo shells (4.5" and about $13.00) was damaged, but it is still usable with some filing.
Overall, the rices are decent. The coconut shell halves were 1.00 each and the shell prices were good too. I ordered several polished and also a kilo of natural. All were turbos.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the order. Not ecstatic; but not overly disappointed. I would have been much more pleased had the "out of stock" shells been available. Those were the sizes I need right now.
It's worth a peek. They have a lot of stuff for crafty people or for those looking for theme decor. I also picked up a couple of palm and seagrass balls for my rabbits and chinchilla.
