Nice! I was originally thinking about doing a Mario themed background with end level steps, flagpole, and castle. I decided the detail would thanks forever. I had the amusement park tank Idea for a while. I figured that would be easier. Lol!
When CrAbByLaNd was about done I needed a little filler for the sky. That's when I remembered Lakitu throwing the spikey shelled things at Mario. I figured he could work for hermit crabs. I pulled up a good Nintendo screenshot and started making it. It took me like 2-3 hours to get it where I was happy with the look

Aww that would’ve been sooooo awesome! I grew up with Mario so I’ll nerd out all day for it haha! Your amusement park is awesome as well! Both ideas are great! Definitely have a lot of creativity! Did you and your wife ever decide on selling your creations?Motörcrab wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 10:06 pmNice! Re: Plastic canvas mesh?!
Actually, we have talked about selling stuff a few times. We were approved to be vendors at Crab Con 2020 selling our backgrounds, climbing ropes, decorated flower pot hides, Acurite Holders, loose sheets of plastic canvas and possibly a few other things. We already started making stuff.
We want to see how everything goes at Crab Con first then possibly look into a store. I don't really see the store doing very well. I think shipping will costs will turn some people away. Most people won't buy something and pay as much, or more for shipping.

I completely understand what u mean. I wish I could go to crab con this coming year. Too far for me. Maybe next time around. I do know what you mean about shipping costs. It drives me nuts to buy something for a couple bucks and pay the same if not more to ship it BUT it makes me purchase more to justify said shipping costs or get free shipping after a certain amount spent. Just something think onMotörcrab wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 8:26 pmActually, we have talked about selling stuff a few times.
