Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
So how about this. I was leaving for work as the mail man was pulling up to drop of my special delivery. Which my fiance took inside and opened to find the burlap sack my two straws were in.. she opens it up and out pops a huge, beautiful Straw, eyes out and antennae flailing wildly as to say "HEY I"M HEEEREEE!" haha she was startled because the first one was sooo big. She's gorgeous... The other that i got for free was also a female but slightly smaller as i requested.... they're both beautiful crabs and i'm about to take pics while i'm rebuilding the fifty five gallon crabitat... Only thing is they have mites.. which was no surprise because there was a note saying that the supplier treated them... as so did LHC.com but theyre still possibly a couple of mites lingering because they were literally just pulled from the wild a couple weeks ago. But i thought i would let u guys know they're safe and sound and i'm about to take pics before i bathe them in stress coat treated water and offer them both a variety of new shell options.... SOOOO HAPPY THEY FINALLY CAME THEYRE SO GORGEOUS! Pics up soon....

I use photobucket. Above the picture, you will see four icons. Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, other services. Click on "other services" and choose "links". Then click on IMG code. It will copy it. Come here and them "paste" the picture. Hope this helps of you choose photobucket
@queenie, it was worth the wait. I sent her an e-mail yesterday upon receiving the crabs to let her know that all is well. She was very apologetic and said that this has never happened before (which we already know), she also said that the supplier supplied her with "odd" sizes. So the small violas are teenies and the medium indos are larges. The medium violas are smalls and no larges. Just thought I'd mention that in case anyone else wants to order.
The indos are willingly swimming in the ocean water, so I didn't have to bathe them again which is interesting. One of the indos is constantly picking on a viola and I've had to separate them many times. As tiny as they are, I'm scared to put then in the main tank, but I know I have to if they want to molt. Ok, gotta go

Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
Giga... What is an Armored Indo? I got 7 and I know one is a pink, but I'm just wondering what makes them 'armored'? All 6 of mine are a VERY light purple, almost lilac. Big claws with the bumps on 'em. I PROMISE I'll post pictures tonight. My pink one is down but I'll at least photograph a few of the 6 still above ground lol
Re: LiveHermitCrabs.com
you have to look at them beucase they are way more armored and jagedy(that a word?)- it's not just the white bumps but everything about them is more heavy set. I know one on my indo's is a pink as well even though i didn't order one. I'll try and get some good shots of the differences
