Hello everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been making and dehydrating Organic hermit crab food for about four years now and my babies have been thriving on it and growing big, active and happy. I am a single Mom, who as of a couple years ago went on disability and discovered ebay as a way to help make ends meet. And it has turned into a pretty fun hobby as well. I have made a lot of friends there. Hermit Crab people are fun to talk to and have gotten to know a few of them pretty well now. I use my sisters free range hen eggs and all organic ingredients. Most the food is dehydrated by me or came that way, in the case of things like the flax meal etc... This is the link and would love to invite anyone who is interested to check out my store! http://stores.ebay.com/hugsforhermits/ I have 100% positive feedback and am a Top Rated Plus Seller and have stellar ratings. I started out selling things I gathered in the wild like seaweed that I dehydrate then grind into powder, dandilions, Oak leaves and other various flowers that HCA has said are on the safe list. Now I have also added biscuits and new recipes. Some of the items I sell are : Heart Shaped calcium veggy protein biscuits, Star or Fish Shaped calcium Salmon biscuits, Fruit Trail mix with crumbled calcium veggy protein biscuits in it, Worm Trail Mix with worm castings chia seed and flax meal, Red Rooibos and Coconut Covered Bananas and MANY other items. I keep coming up with new recipes and new items esp when the spring growing season begins starting with fresh dandilions. All are dehydrated and Organic and I sell on Ebay under the user name Hugsforhermits. This summer I plan to gather drift wood to add to my ebay store along with natural shell dishes and of course seaweed that I gather from clean shores where no boats are moored and other natural gatherings and goodies I find or grow. I just recently started to list climbing nets that I crochet and take requests for specific sizes as well. So please check out my store - Thank you SO SO much! - Hugs - ♥

Sounds great! You just have to make sure you comply with the beachcombing laws for your area. In some places, it's against the law to remove shells, plants, animals, or other items from the beach.

Thank you for the tip I will do that. I know I have bumped into a lady from the Jackson Lab one day she was gathering seaweed specimens that day same place as me. But I will call the town and double triple check. Thank you! 8)

Thank you for posting! I just checked out your eBay store and ordered the 10-pack of assorted dried veggies, seaweed, leaves and worm castings. My guys are soooo picky but the selections look so yummy that I have faith they'll like them :D .

Oh, I see the order! I will be shipping it today- I say one business day shipping but I still end up shipping same day probably 99.9% of the time! Thank you so much. I look forward to hearing how your babies react to the food I make. One thing about the food I make, is that I make it in small batches so its fresh and has good strong scent which I think helps to get their attention. Esp. the fish biscuits I make, very fishy smelling lol. But you know hermit crabs are funny eaters. Their favorite food today they won't even look at tomorrow but the next day they love it again! It's probably natures way of making sure they get the variety of nutrients they need.

Thank you very much for trying my food and I welcome any thoughts or ideas anyone has on it too. -hugs- :cheer:

Hey there! I was checking out your shop and was wondering, do you sell any bundles without mealworm packets? or possibly offer replacements for them in your large grouped orders? I am very interested in ordering some of this wonderful looking food, but already have a surplus of mealworms at hand and don't exactly need to add any more to it haha :D

Hi, thank you so much for checking out my hermit crab food! To answer your question, "Absolutely" Just pick the bundle you like and I am always happy to customize it! I just put bundles together randomly - it is very easy for me to switch items - so pick the bundle and send a note with the purchase of what items you want to substitute. :D

Received my 10-pack-variety order super quick (only 2 days) and put a little bit of the powdered seaweed, worm castings and fruit trail mix in the crabitat last night. Within minutes, Charles Paris was happily munching! When he was done, Big Enzo dove in. This morning all that's left in the bottle cap is substrate  so it's safe to say that my picky eaters liked it. Charles Paris and Big Enzo are the only ones up right now so they're going to get spoiled trying out all of the new goodies. My crabs and I give a hearty endorsement to Hugsforhermits' products and will definitely be ordering other tasty items.

I am always thrilled to hear that my efforts are enjoyed by peoples hermit crabs! Thank you so much for giving it a try and letting me know how they reacted to it! I really appreciate it ♥ I am looking forward to doing business with you again. I ask people to please follow me as I will be adding a lot of new things once the spring - summer growing season gets underway. Today is the first day I was able to get down to the shore to get fresh seaweed, had to wait for the ice to move out, My dehydrator is humming right now filled with freshly gathered seaweed. And just in time too - my winter reserves were like " this close" to being GONE! lol Our first nice day this spring... short lived though the weather man says snow again tomorrow! oi Well thank you SO much again! Have a great weekend! - hugs -
