I got my order yesterday. So far I can review a few things.

Positives

I gave them a little bit of bee pollen and a piece of the octo squid mix. They ate the octo squid completely. The piece is completely gone. They also snacked on the bee pollen. They really loved the octo squid. I was very impressed.

The entire package stunk to high heaven. That is always a plus when it comes to hermie food!!!

Negatives
My order was placed on 7/3 and it tool 10 days for it to arrive with several days sitting in label printed but not actually shipped status. That is excessive for shipping.

Some of my things were damaged in transit. I purchased a coconut bowl moss pit that was broken on arrival. Also the special "soup" meant for crabs missing a bp was busted open. Speaking of which it is a really great mix of important molt and strength foods into honey to make it easy for a crab missing a bp or even just too sick to eat regularly on their own. I bought one to keep as part of my emergency kit They did put it in a ziplock so when the post office exploded it, it didn't make a mess so that is great. I'm sure that with their awesome customer service that they will make it right. ETA - they just answered my message about the damage. They are more than making it right. Customer service for the win. Lol

I will continue to review the different foods. I bought a sample pack which is nice because you can buy up to a 50 sample pack and let them know what samples you want in the pack. That is awesome! A few local crabbers will be receiving some of the samples to also offer product reviews.

They inhaled the piece of the seaweed sheet I put in. Even in the middle of the day they came out to eat it. I will be putting in a piece of red shrimp sushi soon. I will report back tomorrow on how they liked it.

Is the seaweed sheet similar or the same as the nori used for sushi rolls?

They picked at the end of the red shrimp sushi just to get the seaweed part. Nothing else. I left it in and will see if they touch later. So far I'm not impressed with the sushi.

Last night they got a piece of tiki's coconut, a pinch of pineapple treat and surf and turf. No trace of it this morning.

Gave them another sushi - not touched. Guess I know what not to buy again. They nibbled on the halloween. Ate the entire piece of coconut again. They seem to really love the majority of what I got from her. You guys really need to give her a try. It is insane how fast everything (but the sushi) disappears.

I have continued to try the different foods and almost everything is disappearing almost as quickly as it went in. They have snubbed the tuna casserole. They loved the tacos, fruit salad - I had her do a mix of all of the fruits-, seafood medley or whatever it is called to name a few. Happy hermits! Thanks Hermie you adorable chef hat wearing crustacean!
