Richard's Seashells

Post by Nakkida » Mon Sep 26, 2016 3:51 pm

I just wanted to share with everyone what a wonderfully pleasant experience I had with this company. My crabs are all outgrowing their old shells and none of my largest shells are big enough to suit anyone. I've had a nightmare of a time finding shells the with the right size openings (they are large crabs). Shopping online is incredibly annoying when you need them to be within a specific range and every website has a really broad range. Obviously I don't want to pay for too-small or too-large shells.

I initially placed my order with a note stating that they were for crabs and I selected shell types based on their size listings. I received an email the following day from them because some of the shells didn't have the sizes listed on the site, so they gave me size ranges for those shells too. I realized that I was getting some shells too small and some too large, so I called them and said what size I was looking for and they were able to direct me to the size and product number I really needed, refunded my original order, and told me to place a new one with the correct shells.

All in all I am very happy to have worked with them. Their shells are top quality, as is their customer service. :)

Yes, I agree. It is a pain to have to list every size you need/ want for an order, but they do their best to make sure you are completely satisfied. I've even called them directly, and they are always very pleasant and informative. :)
