Places to order food?

Post by hthecvt » Sat Oct 22, 2016 9:50 pm

Aside from the Hermit Crab Patch. The store is closed til Tuesday, and I just found all my crab food molded.

I can make it til Tuesday to order, but does anyone use other places?

Please let me know! Thanks!

My absolute fave right now is Alaska Hermit's simply because so much of her stuff is wild sourced, plus...they love to eat the poo. lol

Hermie's Kitchen is good, and I've made a bunch of homemade hermit crab food mixes. Today they have a mix of chia seeds, sesame seeds, sea salt, freeze dried crickets, mealworms, and river shrimp, and freeze dried apples and bananas and strawberries mixed in.

I think we all do. They really don't eat much unless it's something they love. If you ever try unseasoned, un-buttered popcorn, they LOVE it. But really, they nibble at stuff and eat so little it can be hard to tell if they ate at all sometimes.

Do you give them popped or just the seeds unpopped

They eat it unpoppoed, but they go nuts for popped.
Anyways. This has gotten a bit off topic, I apologize to the OP.
