Here are the new shells that just arrived by USPS

I ordered from Richard's Seashells based on user recommendations here on the forums. It shipped super fast. Seriously. I've boiled these shells in regular tap water and let them cool off and drain in a colander. Now Master Roshi has a nice selection! He was down for a month or so and just surfaced last week. In this photo he is just about to run away. I bought smaller sized turbos for my 2 tiny PP's who haven't even changed shells yet.

Kermie16: Yep! E for ecuadorian and I can't find another like him here in Colorado so to provide him some company I rescued some purple pincers from a reptile store. They tend to stay on opposite ends of the habitat from Master Roshi, though. So I noticed Master Roshi was growing but wouldn't use the larger shell that came in a Michael's assorted bag of decorative shells. That's why I chose mail order to give him an assortment of shells that I could buy according to the 'hermit crab opening' size. There was no guesswork in this order because I know his current shell opening is just about an inch. Ya' gotta know your fractions to order from Richard's Seashells, though.
Still waiting for
anybody to change shells. It has only been one night. I have patience.

There's nothing more satisfying than new shells - other than a crab changing into a new shell.
