HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Where are some good places to shop for hermit supplies. It can be online or a store.

I usually get my hermies stuff from either Amazon (cheaper prices) or petsmart (quick use). Shells can be shipped shopped at Michaels, hobby lobby, joan's, or walmart also quick use.

We have a shopping resources link, but it desperately needs updated. I am waiting to get a computer fixed so I can work on it, as I cannot code from my phone.

What part of the world are you from I find in Canada resources can be limited I use eBay and Amazon for a lot of things though I hear lots of good things about Etsy though I have no experience with it. In depth diy guides have been a huge help for me especially those located on this site.

I am in Canada too, and mostly shop online. I get dried food and instant ocean from Hermit Crab Patch. Shells from Naples Sea Shells. Ebay for cholla etc. The closest pet store (next city an hour away) does carry EE, dried shrimp, and cuttle bone.

I have bought from all of the above, many places online, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, Bean Farm, Josh's Frogs, Naples Shell Company I'm sure a few more that slip my mind. I also use brick and mortar stores for the basics. We have That Fish That Pet Place 1.5 hours away we love going there every few months. They have prices as good as, if not better than online shops once you use sign up for their rewards programs they have the biggest pet shop I have ever seen! It pretty much comes down to searching and finding good deals and how comfortable you are with who you purchase from. I generally read a lot of reviews and ask a questions when I'm unsure of something. If a place doesn't have good feedback I tend to stay away.

I would recommend shopping at petsmart or petco for decor. You could use Craigslist for cheap used tanks. Other good places to shop are Naple Sea Shell Company, Etsy, and The Hermit Crab Patch.
