New heat mat

Hi so I am trying to find a new heat mat. I am trying to upgrade my heat mat since I am currently switching my two pps to a 20 gallon glass tank upgrade. I am looking for one heat mat that would probably be able to heat the whole tank without any extra things hoping there is one strong enough. Do you know which brands are good but cheap. I live in Canada so a lot of items cost A LOT to ship to here so one that has free shipping. Any ideas?

You should cover the entire back from the top of the substrate to top of tank. Figure out that measurement with whatever depth of substrate you'll be using.

There are no UTH's that are 'good but cheap'. You are going to pay a bunch for the good ones. I have never found anyone who ships free to Canada. Ultratherm are probably the best ones.

6 x 23 inch would be a good start and give greater heat output for more stable temps. I'd bump up the size slightly.

You don't want the same temp throught the entire tank. It should be gradient. So if a crab wants to be warmer, the can sit in the back closer to the heat. If they want to cool iff a bit, they'll go to the front of the tank. It won't be that much of a difference. And they also bury themselves to cool off.
