We just received our order of shells from https://www.richardsseashells.com/home-page- .
I ordered 8 shells on Tuesday, July 12 (at about 11 pm). The order shipped on Friday the 15th and arrived on Thursday the 21st.
All 8 shells arrived undamaged. They were packaged in two smaller ziplock baggies inside a larger ziplock baggie. That was cushioned with lots of crumpled brown paper. The box did have a 'fragile, handle with care' sticker on it.
Here are the shells I ordered, with their advertised and actual opening sizes:
(top to bottom, then left to right for the pictures)
Green Fluctuosus Turbo Shell (Polished) 3/4-7/8 : ~1"
Green Turbo Shell (Medium) 3/4-7/8 : ~3/4
Jade Turbo Shell (X-Small) 1 1/8-1 1/4 : ~1 1/4
Jade Turbo Shell (Small) 1 1/4-1 1/2 : ~1 3/8
Petholatus (Snake Skin) Turbo (Polished) (Medium) 3/4-7/8 : ~7/8
Petholatus (Snake Skin) Turbo (Polished) (Large) NO LONGER ON SITE : ~1"
Turbo Petholatus W/ Spots 1-1 1/8 : ~1"
Pink Murex (Medium) NONE LISTED : ~1 3/8
Neither Maxwell nor Mitchell has shown any interest yet, but Kendall tried on both jades and settled on the larger one (it's really too big for her).
edit: Maxwell is wearing the smallest green turbo.
