HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I'm thinking of buying the following vines for my crabbies. Are they safe? If not, does anyone know any better options for vines? Thank you!

It looks like it would be fine, but they might start picking at it. If you use it, just keep an eye on it, so that if you see them picking it to bits you can remove it.
I use driftwood for climbing in my tank.
