I'm not sure if any one has mentioned this store or not. I know a lot of us are looking for larger turbos (1 1/4-2 opening). They have a bag of shells for $7.99 that has one good size turbo in it, but you can get the coupon (I think you can even use other store's coupons like Michael's or JoAnn) and get the bag for around $4. I thought that was a good deal :D

Is it a big bag, or a small bag?

I would say it's big, not huge.

And right now they have 6 foot climbies for cheap. The $5.99 bags at the one by me typically have one good lightweight, but largish shell in them amoung other things. Not quite the African turbo we scored at a Michaels once, but still, good shells. Plus plenty to pulverize for eating. :)

I have been getting the coupons. I signed up on their website and get emails. Do they have smaller shells as well? The store is a bit out of the way so I have not actually gone there.

HeeHee, I can answer this one. My best friend works at my local A.C.Moore!!!
They carry little six-inch baskets of shells for $1, that usually have up to 1 1/2" green turbos, and sometimes larger nerites and such japanese land snails, fox shells, murex, and lots of shell dishes underneath. There are the "pecten shell packs" which are a big clam shell with little shells in it. Sometimes good E-shells, sometimes small turbos, and they're lik 45 cents. There are the bigger bags, which I have found everything from big tapestry turbos to once a 3 1/2" african turbo in. The bigger shell bags frequently have dyed shells, which aren't so great for crabbies, but some have just plain shells. They have big fox shells for $8, big murex for $2, etc etc. Plus the netting, which you can get either in a bag of small(1-2 ft) pieces for uber-cheap, or a big 5' piece for more money. Hopefully, answering this question does not break advertising rules, if it does, I am terribly sorry!!!!
