overall I had 56 adult LHCs since April 2009 till now. (The breedings are not counted here.)
25 died in this time. Mostly because of PPS/molting problem and overgrowding in the first years.
And I've learned:
- do not buy in strange shops nor online
- do not buy for "rescue" reasons (the shop will buy new one and so new hermits has to be 'rescued'. We've come full circle.)
- do not keep too much hermits in the tank. Even if the tank looks big enough for human eyes. The places to hide, dig and molt are important and not the "gallon per LHC".
- keep the tank, food and conditions as naturally as possible

First, check if your tank is big enough for a pool. Think about how to clean this pool.
Then search for a glazier. Think about stabilisation of the glass if you put it in sloped
