Today I made two videos with my microscope.
One you can watch at photobucket the other one I'm still uploading to my You Tube-Account. I edit the link later.
Both shot-films show eating larvae. And they are veerrrry hungry! *g*
5 Indos, 4 Violas, 1 Rugs, 1 E, 5 adult PPs and about 22 breeding's of PPs!
Some other breeding's also, which species is yet not confirmed.

*g* My cheap Microscope? That's a BRESSER digital USB-Microscope (30,-€ ~ 40,-$) used together with a freeware program for webcams.

And.... the next video is ready: larvaes at youtube
5 Indos, 4 Violas, 1 Rugs, 1 E, 5 adult PPs and about 22 breeding's of PPs!
Some other breeding's also, which species is yet not confirmed.

you can see how they grab an artemia. They hold them in their arms and eat them. *yummy*

And yes, they are really really hungry :shock:

@kuza and nat: only with 20x magnification. Higher magnification and megalopa don't fit into the image section. ;)

By the way: Since nearly 3 days Curlz is hosting over 100 of my larvea. I still have over 1000.^^
And I have seen her little cabbys!!! They are sooo cute! :love7:

Current hermits: About 17 PPs and 3 straws (for now)
A 180-ish gallon tank with two 36 gallon extenstions!
What can I say? I love crabs!

:D Spoiler-alert: Curlz has new larvae since yesterday (and still some of mine). :D

As for my larvae: They are well. Only few loses each day. Sill about 1000 larvae in kreiseltanks or bubbling-bottles.

And here is a new picture I made this morning:
